Service Description

Zuperior S (6'-12'-20') hockey skate profiling pairs a lively toe with a supportive mid and a long, calming heel so you can pop into cuts and then cruise with control. It skates like a forward-friendly all-ice profile: fast edge engagement for starts, dekes, and tight turns, with composed glide when you lengthen your stride. Best for: Shifty wingers / two-way centers who want snap off the toe but steadier carry speed, skaters moving up from 9.5′–10′ singles who want more heel poise without losing agility, holder lengths ~246–263 mm (within the S window) What it trades: Not as twitchy as a pure 9′ or Quad XS at the toe Not as “locked-down” at max speed as very long singles or Zuperior L/V—this favors real-game balance Dial-in tips: Pitch: ~20 mm. If the toe feels too hot, reduce the effective pitch slightly. Hollow: start 11/16″; go 5/8″ only if you need more bite Notes: If a defenseman finds it too toe-active, either go shallower on hollow or step to Zuperior M Next steps if you want to tweak: Want extra heel glide/stability? S → M (and/or one step shallower on hollow) Want more instant toe snap? Try Quad 0 or keep Zuperior S and add +0.5 mm pitch only after hollow/profile tests Prefer a continuous, single-curve feel? Natural Curve Quick (10′ core) or Ellipse S/M All profiling is performed on the SSM Profile Machine. After profiling, the steel will need to be sharpened to a specified hollow. In most cases, profiling and sharpening can both be done for next-day pickup. Please call or text if you have additional questions
