Zuperior M hockey skate profiling blends a responsive toe with a supportive mid and a long, calming heel. It’s the “just-right” Zuperior: lively enough to attack off the front, yet smooth and composed when you open your stride. Ideal for two-way centers and puck-moving D who live in transition and want real-game efficiency end-to-end. Best for: Players who want forward-friendly snap plus stress-free glide, skaters stepping up from 10′ singles or Zuperior S who want more heel poise, holder lengths ~272–288 mm (within the M window) What it trades: Not as ultra-twitchy as Zuperior S or Quad XS at the toe Not as “locked-down” as Zuperior L/V or very long singles at peak speed Dial-in tips: Pitch: ~20 mm. If the toe feels too hot, reduce the effective pitch slightly. Hollow: start 11/16″–3/4″ to complement the long heel’s glide; only go deeper if you’re sliding out on starts Notes: If you want even calmer straight-line holds, try a shallower hollow before changing profiles Next steps if you want to tweak: Need snappier micro-cuts? M → S (or one step deeper on hollow) Want maximum blue-line stability? M → L (and/or one step shallower on hollow) Prefer a progressive multi-zone feel? Test Quad 1: want a seamless, continuous curve? Natural Curve Quick (10′ core) All profiling is performed on the SSM Profile Machine. After profiling, the steel will need to be sharpened to a specified hollow. In most cases, profiling and sharpening can both be done for next-day pickup.
