SSM Natural Curve Hockey Skate Profiling

Smooth Roll. Sharp Control.

35 US dollars

Service Description

SSM Natural Curve Quick hockey skate profiling centers on a 10′ core with a seamlessly blended toe and heel, providing a buttery roll onto the edge without the “zoned” feel of multi-radius templates. It skates like a refined 10′: quick enough up front for snaps, calm enough out back for glide and poise. The smooth transition makes edge changes feel intuitive—perfect for players who want predictability under pressure and consistent performance shift after shift. Best for: Two-way centers and puck-moving D who need clean transitions and steady north-south speed, Forwards who like a lively toe but prefer a smoother, continuous arc than split/quad profiles, Skaters stepping up from 9.5′–10′ who want more polish without losing response What it trades: Less ultra-twitchy than a pure 9′; not as “locked-in” straight-line as long singles (11′–13′). It’s the balanced, seamless middle. Dial-in tips (optional): Pitch: neutral → slight forward to highlight toe engagement Hollow: 5/8″–11/16″ or a crisp bite that still glides Next steps if you want to tweak: Want more pop up front? Ask for an NC Agile bias (small toe emphasis) or test a 9.5′/10.5′ split. Want extra straight-line calm? Nudge toward an NC Glide/Stability bias or consider a 10′/13′ split for longer heel support. All profiling is performed on the SSM Profile Machine. After profiling, the steel will need to be sharpened to a specified hollow. In most cases, profiling and sharpening can both be done for next-day pickup. Please call or text if you have additional questions
