New Figure Skate Sharpening

Service Description

New figure skates sharpening for standard figure skates, whether your skates are brand new, new to you, or just new to us, is about becoming acquainted with your skates. We will take measurements to verify your current hollow and blade width. We then make adjustments on the SSM-2 Pro to ensure that the hollow is centered and set correctly. We always do a final pass with Accu-Lube to reduce friction and create a nice, polished finish. Edges will be deburred and checked for evenness. During this process, we take notes and track skates to provide exceptional service. If the blades require a higher price, we will always verify with you before beginning work. A 7/16" hollow is the standard for figure skating, but other depths are available upon request.
