10'/13' Split Hockey Skate Profiling

Attack Fast. Cruise Faster.

35 US dollars

Service Description

The 10′/13′ split radius hockey skate profiling pairs a responsive toe (10′) for sharp entries, quick starts, and confident turns with a longer heel (13′) for efficient glide and calm straight-line stability. It feels like a grown-up 10′—still agile in battles, but with extra poise when you open up your stride. A staple for puck-moving defensemen, two-way centers, and power forwards who need to burst, transition, and then hold speed across the sheet. Best for: PMD/transition D who escape pressure and carry with control, 200-ft centers balancing edges with sustained speed, Power wings who drive the net but want steadiness at the top end. What it trades: Not as instant-twitch as a 9′/9.5′ toe, and not as “endless” as a pure 12′–13′ single at max speed—this favors balance and real-game efficiency. Dial-in tips (optional): Pitch: neutral (add +0.5 mm forward if you want more toe pop) Hollow: 11/16″–3/4″ to complement the longer heel’s glide Next steps if you want to tweak: Want more stability/glide for blue-line work? Move toward 11′–13′ single or Quad 2. Want friskier acceleration and tighter cuts? Try 9.5′/10.5′ split or 10′ single with a touch more forward pitch. All profiling is performed on the SSM Profile Machine. After profiling, the steel will need to be sharpened to a specified hollow. In most cases, profiling and sharpening can both be done for next-day pickup. Please call or text if you have additional questions
